from the dark i feel your lips and i taste your bloody kiss. ================
Under a mountain of blankets, crumpled onto the couch was Willow Hale. She had been sitting there for about an hour, buried under the soft comforters she never got to use, as she could never sleep. The television was on, but that didn't mean there was anything to watch, she flipped through channel after channel disliking everything that was on. At three thirty in the morning, there really isn't much to watch. She felt someone sit down next to her and she struggled under the blankets to see who it was. Emmett, of course. His "Inside the NFL" show was on, and God would forbid him to miss it. Without a word she handed him the remote and rose from the couch.
"Thanks little tree, " Emmett said jokingly, flipping to his memorized channel. She stuck her tongue out at him, still wrapped in her blankets, only her face and feet visible. He always called her little tree! He knew it annoyed her, but they got along very well. Both goofy people, and always pranking and pulling jokes on one another. "You're not gonna stay and watch? " He questioned her, hardly waiting for an answer, he was already into the commentary on yesterdays game. Willow sighed, glancing back at the television, "Probably not, I don't think I'm manly enough to watch it with you. I might cramp your style with my duckie pajamas. " Willow giggled, lifting the blanket enough for him to see her purple pj bottoms with little yellow duckies.
He glanced over at them, snickering to himself. "Yeah, on second thought you better go. I can't have duckies and Bears commentary at the same time. Make like a tree and leave. " They both laughed and she walked her way into the kitchen, sitting her big poofy self into one of the bar chairs. There wasn't much to do during the middle of the night, sometimes the family went out and played baseball-- most people could sleep through a thunder storm, but not tonight. She smiled to herself rolling her eyes, she could imagine Carlisle telling her that if she was bored she could read a book. It always amused her how much he enjoyed education, he had read every book in his library, which was more than she could handle.
Willow sat there quietly, looking at all of the fancy appliances in the kitchen, none of which had actually been used. She hoped for someone to come talk to her, but knowing her family and their weird ways she assumed she would be alone, at least for a while. "Too bad we can't have a dog, " she mumbled quietly to herself, "Emmett would eat it. " Less than a second later she heard the soft shout of Emmett from the living room, "Would not! " She laughed quietly and shook her head. Yes he would.

The air was frosty but not too frosty for Isabella to decide on taking a nice nightly drive. Sure she could've walked but she decided on driving because she missed seeing the woods and even being in the forest. Forks is known for plenty of that and maybe she could stop by Jacob's to see if her friend was there. Besides, even mothers of three needs some time for themselves don't they? She sure needed it. While her children are asleep, Isabella got into the truck, turned on the old girl's engine and pulled out from the driveway. In case if they were wondering, she left a note stating she'll be back she just wants to take the truck out for a drive and if they need her, she left her cellphone. Also Nic is also there so if the girls needs someone he's there to help them out. Plus her father isn't too far behind. As she continued to drive, she hummed along to a song she heard on the radio-which was one of her ringtones entitled "Elevation" by U2. She loved hearing that song. It also reminded her of Tristen though he prefered With or Without You. Isabella stopped. Instantly a sight of the familiar house she once visited was at the left side of her. Should she pull in? She's not the same so its not like she would feel afraid. However, if she saw Edward, oh she would definately have something to say. "Why the hell not," she said outloud as she now drove her truck up the familiar driveway and stopped in front of the house. She got out, turned off the engine, walked up to the door and knocked. If Edward opens it, she's ready. If someone else, then let them.

from the dark i feel your lips and i taste your bloody kiss. ================
The only light on in the kitchen shone from the stove hood, and only illuminated the room as much as a candle probably would have. Willow didn't mind it though, she found it more peaceful. She liked having candles around but with as much as the boys in this house wrestle and mess around this whole place would be on fire in minutes. Willow sighed, placed her chin in her palm, resting her elbow on the counter in front of her. "Emmett, " She hollered into the next room, "I'm tired. " To amuse herself she started closing her eyes, her head slipping forward as if she were about to fall asleep.
"No you're not! You can't even sleep, " Emmett retored, making Willow laugh. "Yes-huh! I think I'm turning into a human again. " She snickered at the thought, knowing it to be an impossibility. She could hear Emmett shift on the couch, probably trying to get a glance into the kitchen. "Yeah right, I would have smelled it by now! " She laughed aloud this time, slidding out of her chair and onto her feet. The blankets dragged behind her now and she walked to the door frame peering into the living room at Emmett. A theatrical gasp escaped the young vampire, "Oh my gosh, Em! Maybe your sense of smell isn't working because your a human too! "
From his spot on the couch Emmett's eyes never left the screen, although he did flip her off. She giggled and threatened to tell her mom on him, to which he flipped her off once more. "Worse now, I'm telling aunt Rosalie. " Emmett spun around in his seat, pointing his finger at her, obviously trying to be stern. "You better not. I'm not getting in trouble... " He tried to look fierce but Willow just laughed, "Who's afraid of the big, bad, Rosie, " she taunted him. All of a sudden he bursted out laughing and pointed to the stair case behind her. Rosalie stood there glaring with full force at Willow.
"Did you just call me...big? " She spat with venom. Willow looked back at Emmett, eyes wide and without warning she began to laugh. She heard Rose growl and stomp her way back up the stairs, as she left Emmett howled with laughter as well. "I thought she was gonna pounce you kid! It would have been like Animal Planet, where the zebras get attacked by lions. I can't believe you survived! "
Their laughter both ended as they heard the knocking at the door, Willow gave her uncle an awkward look and then rushed over to get it. As she opened it a woman she could only describe as Bella Swan, her father Jasper had seen her when she had first moved back to Forks, stopped at her house warming party. When he told Willow about her, she matched this woman's description. "Hey, " Willow said, glancing back at Emmett slightly confused. "Can I help you? "

The moment she had approached the door, she heard some commotion coming from inside. There were a few voices though it wasn't very loud though but faint. Maybe because she was near the door but one of them sounded like Emmett, the other Rosalie, and of course the third who now came near the door is someone else. The moment the door opened, she went face to face with a teenage girl. Someone she doesn't know though but maybe she knows Jasper. "Yeah hi, I hope I wasn't intruding or anything. I was out for a drive and decided to come to here to see if it was indeed the same house I've been to, a long long time ago. Uh, is Jasper here? He was at my housewarming party and I wanted to also come by for a chat. I think its fair enough. If he isn't I could come another time. Name's Isabella Marie Easton."

*Now I wonder what you think of me* *Don't know why I break so easily* All my fears are armed surrounding me It had been only months since Edward and his family had returned to Forks little had changed, and Edward had spent his time homebound, locked within his room, the only time he left his room was perhaps to go hunting. Therefore Edward was currently returning from the local woods, his eyes shimmered their usual golden topaz colour. However having killed various creatures. Edward scaled the side of the building of the Cullen household and through his large window, the memories of years back remained and they would not leave his mind. As he stood within his room he glanced around something was different it was within the air.
Many a time over the few months Edward had debated finding Bella, but he had heard tales about Bella, how she had married, and had children of her own, it was what he had wanted for her wasn't it? then why did he feel so torn? Swiftly changing his shirt he pulled on a clean one. Not only hand he been tempted to go find Bella, there was the temptation to go to Alaska, and stay with Tanya once again, he felt..empty here. Fighting the temptation to stay home and not leave, he thanked both Rosalie and remotely Alice for there support. When he would see Bella he didn't know, he didn't even know if he wanted to see Bella again, could he possibly handle it? she would be older then him, physically at that, but then again that was what he had wanted.
Moving over to his large cabinet he trailed a long elegant pale finger over the spins of his CD's pulling out one, he saw no harm in listening to it. So, placing it within his CD player, the music played softly, Clair De lune sounded elegantly within his room, turning it down low just so he could hear it, he moved to lay on the large black leather sofa, picking up a book he had read many times over, he flicked through it's pages. Capulet had won Juliet With a soft sigh. he closed the book and threw it over his shoulder, it then landed then with a soft thud. It was only moments later when the sudden roar of an engine sounded. Sitting up suddenly, his eyes grew wide, life sparked, the golden colouring liquefied. Was it really her? Within the next moment there was a knock at the door and footsteps sounded.
Pushing off from the sofa, Edward moved to the top of the stairs as the door was open just then in the small movement in the air, the familiar scent, so strong, so potent, yet so sweet. Greeted his nose, the temptation hit him like a blow to the stomach, He almost doubled over in sheer agony. Bella. Bella was here, he would know that scent from anyway, clutching the rails he took a deep breath and held it. Composing himself as much as he could, he thought it best to see her, just a small glimpse..he didn't have to talk to her. Making his way silently down the stairs, it took him moments before he reached the bottom floor, Willow had opened the door, and leaning slightly Edward could see the the chocolate brown hair, slightly wavy, the hair he remembered so well. Could he? could he really face her? Rosalie had went to her husband and sat next to him on the couch while he watched sport center. She had never understood his facination with the stupid show. Why in the world would an immortal who could run at blazing fast speeds, and climb mountains in minutes want to watch lame humans who had a hard time running from one side of the field to another? It seemed pointless, but then again there were lots of things her husband did that seemed pointless. She barely listened as he and willow argued back and forth. The thing that caught her attention was Edward. It was the understatement of the century to say that he hadn't been himself in a long time. True, he had always been odd. Listening to boring music, not wanting anything to do with other females and then of course falling for the human. To Rosalie Edward was a vampire mystery, but for the past few years he had seemed even more strange..more distant.
Rosalie wouldnt lie and say that she was unhappy about their decision to move because she supported it. They were getting too close, infact she believed maybe the move happened a bit too late but nevertheless she was happy with the decision to cut the human from their lives. She didn't want to see her brother so depressed though. She had never expected that he would have taken it so hard. When she heard the music drift downstairs she wondered if maybe he was starting to FINALLY get over the girl. Afterall, it had been so many years..perhaps now was the time. She was about to say something to Emmett when someone knocked on the door. She turned sharply and listened intently as Willow answered the door. Rosalie was on high alert, people didnt just wander into the cullens home. She just knew this had to be something bad, when the familiar female voice answered willow Rosalie's thoughts were confirmed this was going to be very bad.
Edward had came downstairs and Rosalie moved swiftly. She was at Willow's side in a second and she looked at the girl, Bella for the first time in years. She was not a girl anymore, she was older but Rosalie had to give her credit age suited her well, she was beautiful. She spoke calmly, her musical voice sounded more sure than she felt.
" Hello Bella. "

While she waited patiently for the girl to answer, her eyes turned towards the blond haired young woman that she had known way way way back then the moment when she had arrived at Willow's side. "Hello Rosalie," she replied back this time not very shy as before but confident, "it's been a long time." Indeed it had been but well if she had to face her husband's death and raising three kids by herself then this is nothing. Besides, to her, the clingy, needy, whiny, damsel in distress Bella they have known, are dead and she's not coming back. She looked over both of their shoulders towards a familiar figure who had appeared on the steps. Joy. It's Edward. A look of "oh good lord" came on her face you know the type where she just wished he didn't come down the steps. If she wanted to she would have marched up to him and slap him but that Bella is gone so now she'll do the alternative. A sigh came from her lips and gave him a roll of her eyes. Besides she wasn't here for Edward. She was here to see Jasper to thank him for coming to the party but wanted to talk to him however couldn't because he left. "Anyway I'm sorry for interrupting you all. Just came to see if Jasper is here. As I told her, Jasper came to my homecoming party but left. So I was wondering if he's here so I can thank him properly and see if we can indeed talk. Do you know if he's here?" Of course it was to the both of them. Not all three.
